Derek Leahy

Managing Director B.Sc Mgt, ACMA, MBA

As a senior business finance manager with Merrill Lynch (Investment Bank) Derek was responsible for project managing the implementation of enterprise-wide system developments. He has also managed a host of front office business development initiatives. Derek was a core member of the team which established Merrill’s Dublin based IFSC Irish banking operation.

On completion of a full time MBA in 2000, he joined Norkom Technologies (CRM Software) as a senior marketing consultant. Here, he helped to develop demonstration software for the field and supported the Norkom sales and marketing team at all stages of the product sales cycle.

He is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA from the Michael Smurfit graduate school of business (UCD). His MBA thesis topic, was on the role of permission email marketing in the marketing mix within Irish financial services. He joined as a Director of Inspiration in June 2001. He is responsible for project management and delivery of client projects.
