Design Phase
The project definition document will typically outline the different page templates required for your website. For example the home page will differ in layout from a products page which again may be different from the projects or contact pages. For ecommerce websites there is the further complication of designing the shopping cart buying process page templates.
Our designers will initially present you typically with two separate design concepts usually for the home page and an inside page (products or projects). These website design concepts are non functional images or pictures of what your web site might look like. We include appropriate options for site navigation, colour schemes, content layout and potential website imagery.
Typically different elements from these initial designs are chosen by our clients and worked upon further by our web designers. We recognise that the design phase is iterative. Inspiration’s web designers remain flexible throughout this phase. This allows multiple iterations of initial designs to be developed upon. The output from this phase is a set of signed off webpage templates which our developers will code and incorporate into the agreed content management system.
