Job Title:

Search Engine Optimisation Consultant – Permanent or Contract

Inspiration Marketing based in Dun Laoghaire are looking for an SEO Consultant to join our Internet Marketing Team. Inspiration is one of the leading award-winning Online Marketing Agency in Ireland working with Blue Chip, Government and a range of SME clients.

Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with the Project Manager and Web Developer in optimising all Inspirations’ client web sites with input into the technical / back end re-architecting of these sites to improve search engine rankings.
• You will be expected to take ownership of all your own projects from initial keyword research through to implementation and ongoing client support. You must be a motivated self-starter, genuinely interested and even passionate about search engine optimization. You will have the capability of delivering on schedule while working to tight deadlines in a very commercially focused agency.
• In addition to managing the implementation of client SEO projects you may (subject to skills) provide back-up to our current web developer on web development (HTML) projects as workload demands.
• Specifically you will be specialist in
  • On page optimization via Meta Tagging, alt tags, robots.txt. google sitemap, contant oprimisation, internal linking structures etc
  • Off site optimization via implementation of programmes for | Directory & Article submissions | Blogs | Link exchanges | Social media marketing | PR & press release postings.
  • Seo analysis and audit of client websites
  • Keyword research  and associated software tools

Technical skills required:

• Website Build – HTML, W3C, SEO optimisation toolsets
• Appreciation of web analytics software and techniques
• Experience in PPC campaigns and/or Google Adsense / Adwords / Analytics programs
• HTML essential. Dreamweaver, Fireworks desirable.
• Experience of implementing SEO programmes essential.
• Familiarity with common Content Management Systems e.g. WordPress, Contribute , Joomla
• Understanding of PHP, MySQL, and database applications is desirable.

• Genuinely passionate about search engine optimization.
• Strong communication skills and good attention to detail. Someone who wants to see a project through to completion
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks and work on multiple projects
• Excellent time management
• Good client management skills
• Capable of working independently and as part of the project team
• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions

Desired skills:

• Strong knowledge of current search engine marketing techniques is a must
• Degree level qualification but suitable experience will be considered
• Demonstrable experience of working within a SEO role for at least 2 years
• Ability to effectively and confidently communicate to clients and colleagues at all levels including technical and marketing managers and directors

Payment: Annual Salary Euro 30,000 – Euro 40,000 STE
